The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) issued 2,359 invitations to candidates with work experience to apply under the Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream for a provincial nomination on December 14, 2023.
Candidates only received an invitation if they had a comprehensive ranking system (CRS) score of 473-480 and work experience in the following national occupational codes (NOC):
- NOC 20012 – Computer and information systems managers
- NOC 21211 – Data Scientists
- NOC 21220 – Cybersecurity specialists
- NOC 21221 – Business system analysts
- NOC 21222 – Information systems specialists
- NOC 21223 – Database analysts and data administrators
- NOC 21230 – Computer systems developers and programmers
- NOC 21231 – Software engineers and designers
- NOC 21232 – Software developers and programmers
- NOC 21233 – Web designers
- NOC 21234 – Web developers and programmers
- NOC 21311 – Computer engineers (except software engineers and designers)
- NOC 22220 – Computer network technicians
- NOC 22221 – User support technicians
- NOC 22222 – Information systems testing technicians

If invited candidates successfully receive a nomination from Ontario, they will be given an additional 600 points toward their overall Comprehensive Rankings System (CRS) score. This award would effectively ensure that they would receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in a subsequent federal Express Entry draw.
